This charity exists to ensure that public access to all Forestry Commission owned woods around Ladybank is mainted for recreational, conservation, bio-diversity and educational purposes. Recent achievements include the provision of an all abilities path now dedicated as "The Alan Crawford Memorial Walk" in Monkstown Wood.

The Group has a programme of Summer Walks and Winter talks - watch the events calendar for these.

Membership is open to anyone in the community who uses the woods or supports the organisation's objectives.

Annual subscription is £2 for adults, £0.50 for children under 6, and £5 per family. Membership application forms available from John Stark, Secretary, see contact details above.
