Fife Coast and Countryside Trust Ranger Service works in partnership with the Falkland Centre for Stewardship and other landowners in the Howe of Fife, to encourage increasingly responsible access to the land and the Lomond Hills Regional Park. The aim is to increase opportunities for children and young people to learn and care about their natural heritage. Community sites in the Howe which the Rangers oversee include Auchtermuchty Common, Birnie and Gaddon Loch Nature Reserve, the Falkland Estate and Ladybank woods.
