Falkland Primary School was built in 1967. It is the only primary school in Falkland and also serves the village of Newton of Falkland and the surrounding area.

Our aim is to offer pupils a safe, happy and stimulating learning environment where each individual is encouraged to fulfil his or her potential and success is recognised in all aspects of school life.

We are committed to offering a wide curriculum to all pupils and make good use of visits, visitors and the local environment to support learning. Our Learning Support teacher is in school 2 days each week.

The Falkland Parent Council, supports the school well and organises many successful fundraising and social events throughout the school session.

Falkland Out of School Club also runs from the school during term time and holidays.

Falkland primary has a recycled uniform shop - giving you a chance to buy and recycle outgrown uniform. Please contact Mrs Golden on 01337 857799 or the school office if you are looking at buying or donating anything. Prices from 50p - a bargain!

		Nursery & Primary School Admission 2010/11 Please ensure you enrol your child in a new Fife school or nursery for the next academic year before 15 Jan 10 (for school) and 31 Jan 10 for nursery.
		Wanted: Early Years Officer - Falkland Primary Temporary until July 2010. Hours: 17.5 hrs/wk (Mon - Fri mornings only). Applicants should possess an HNC in Childcare or an SVQ Level 3 Childcare with experience in an Education Service Nursery Closing date: 29 January 10.
