The 30th Anniversary of this first class festival featuring some of the country's best traditional music performers & an array of fun community events.

The community festival runs from Fri 6 Aug to Thu 12 Aug and includes all the usual favourites: Yard of Ale, Sunday Funday, Mr & Mrs, Young at Heart Bus trip, Darts & karaoke competitions, sausage sizzle at Fletcher's, Stars in their Eyes, quiz, dances, music and more...phew!

The traditional music festival runs from Fri 13 Aug to Sun 15 Aug (inclusive) and features sinstrumental and singing sessions, workshops, concerts and competitions with a large number of guests including Aonghas Grant, The Marsden Rattlers, Sheila Stewart, Dave Goulder, Brian Miller, Shepheard, Spiers & Watson and many more.

Traditional Music Workshops

The Auchtermuchty Festival Society in partnership with Elmwood College, regularly hold traditional music workshops in the Auchtermuchty Town Hall. Workshops offer tuition in guitar, fiddle, tin whistle, mouth organ and accordian. All adults and children from 8 upwards welcome to attend (an adult must accompany children under 10).
