The Auchtermuchty Festival. An annual tradition in Muchty for over 27 years - traditional music and family fun for everyone.

The 2008 festival ran from the 1st to 10th August and was, as always jam packed with community and traditional music events. Including favourites Sunday Funday, Yard of Ale, Stars in Their Eyes, M&D's, Young at Heart Bus Trip and Junior Muchty's Got Talent.

The theme was 'Welcome to the Sixties' - and true to form plenty of psychadelic outfits appeared. For the first time this year, the committee erected a marquee in the Cross which helped the fun continue, despite atrocious weather.
