Scotland’s Gardens Scheme (SGS), a registered charity created in 1931, raises funds for other worthy charities by facilitating the opening of large and small gardens of horticultural interest throughout Scotland to the public.
The many privately owned gardens that open for the scheme are its backbone, very few are accessible to the public at other times and they include a wide selection of Scotland's most beautiful properties.
This weekend Myres Castle Gardens are open for all to enjoy. They are formal walled gardens laid out in the style of the Vatican gardens in Rome, and they reflect the Fairlie family's papal connections.
Admission: £5 (including tea). 40% to Rachel House Children's Hospice, Kinross and 60% net to Scotland's Gardens Scheme
