Organised as part of Fife Outdoor Access Festival - a walk for the reasonably fit. Includes a 200m ascent. Walking boots recommended. A walk through the picturesque and historic village of Falkland, past Falkland Palace and then into Falkland estate. The walk continues up Maspie Den with its impressive waterfall, which pass you pass under and onto the lower reaches of the Lomond Hills (with a detour to Tyndall Bruce Monument, then return). Walkers should bring a packed lunch, and/or visit the local eating places in Falkland after the walk. Plenty of craft shops for those wishing to do some shopping. £5 per ticket.
