At the Rotary District 1010 Council Meeting in Aberdeen on Sunday 16th. November 2008, the Howe of Fife Rotary Club President, Graeme Bain, was presented with a Bronze Award from the ShelterBox Trust.

An innovative and thought-provoking exhibition by Fife Members of the Children's Parliament has been brought to Kirkcaldy.

Sunday the 26th October saw Shukokai Karate students from all over Fife gather at the Chapel Community Centre, Kirkcaldy to attend a course by Steven Morris (6th Dan), Chief Instructor of Kobe Osaka Scotland.
