Slow Food Fife Update

Fife foodies will soon have the opportunity to join a new organisation Slow Food Fife - a growing network of Fifers who support the Slow Food movement.

Slow Food works internationally to promote food that is Good, Clean and Fair by

  • spreading taste education
  • defending biodiversity
  • connecting producers with co-producers, and
  • engaging the youth to shape the future of Slow Food

 

The Slow Food Fife local branch, or 'Convivium' is in the process of being established and aims to bring together like-minded people, organise events and exchange information about good food and drink in the area. If you're interested in joining, please contact Vivien vivien.collie@btconnect.com.

Slow Food at the BBC Good Food Show
For the first time there will be a special Slow Food Pavilion at the BBC Good Food Show which takes place 31 October to 2 November at the SECC in Glasgow. Taking stands in the pavilion are various companies who have won bursaries as Good, Clean and Fair small local producers: they include
