Have you had your winter flu jab?

From Fife Herald, Monday, 27th October, 2008

Fifers over 65 years are being urged to ensure they have their winter flu jab.

As many of us know, flu is not only a bad cold. It can strike any-time and leave you in bed for a week.

This year's NHS Scotland campaign targets people aged 65 and over as well as under 65s who are 'at-risk' due to long-term medical conditions.

If you fall within this group you are entitled to a free flu vaccination from your GP.

Ladybank and Auchtermuchty health centres have already held drop-in flu vaccination sessions with good uptake, but request that anyone eligible contact them directly to make an apointment.
