Like many others the Church of Scotland is being hit by the escalating cost of maintaining its buildings and it is thought that one or more of the churches - the Howe of Fife in Kingskettle, Ladybank, Collessie and Cults in Pitlessie - may be closed.

Falkland folk have been shocked and saddened at the loss of one of its best known residents, Bob Maxwell, who died suddenly last weekend aged 77.

Those of you who made it to Letham Nights 2 on 21st February, will I'm sure agree, that it was a STONKING NIGHT!
