The many privately owned gardens that open for the scheme are its backbone, very few are accessible to the public at other times and they include a wide selection of Scotland's most beautiful properties. This weekend Barham, in Bow of Fife is opening for all to enjoy. It is a small woodland garden with rhododendrons, spring bulbs, trilliums and ferns. Also a summer garden with herbaceous borders and island beds. Admission is £3.50, 40% goes to Pain Association Scotland and 60% to Scotland's Gardens Scheme. A rare opportunity to enjoy Sir Robert & Lady Spencer-Nairn's garden. See website for more. -
