  1. Ladybank Forest Users Group: Winter Talks Programme

    All welcome to hear John Mitchell's account of Badger preservation and the need for it. John is nicknamed 'Badger' which underlines his passion for protecting this much-maligned species, and we look forward to finding out mmore about their behaviour and habits.
  2. Collessie Quiz Night

    Friday, 5th December, 2008

    Collessie Village Hall Committee are pleased to host the very popular quiz night again this year. The Collessie Quiz Night Trophy has been keenly contested in the past and this event has proven to be great fun for all. Bring along a team or join one on the night. Teams are to be limited to a maximum of 8 people please. The event will be from 8pm – 10pm in the Hall and the admission is £2 per person to be paid on the door. Please bring along your own refreshments. A raffle will be held on the night and all proceeds will go to the upkeep of the Hall.
  3. ***Letham Christmas Fair***

    Saturday, 6th December, 2008

    Letham Primary School is holding a Christmas Fair on Saturday, 6rh December from 10am-12noon, in the Village Hall. This is being organised by the School Council, and will include events such as Home Baking, Christmas Crafts, Raffle, Calendars for sale. Entry is £1.50 - we look forward to seeing you there.

    Collessie Village hall plays host to another old time dance party with music from Jimmy Shand Junior. Tickets £4 each, available at the door.
  5. Christmas Wreath Making Workshop

    Learn how to make your own Christmas wreath, and then get the chance to practice your skills. The workshop includes step-by-step instruction on making a Christmas wreath followed by hands-on practical work, making your own wreath to take away. Booking required, please call in advance.
  6. Winter Wildfowl

    Sunday, 14th December, 2008

    Join the Fife Coast and Countryside Trust Ranger Service and get to know the colourful world of winter wildfowl. Dogs allowed. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please reserve a space to avoid disappointment.
  7. Give Blood - Community Donor Session Falkland

    Thursday, 18th December, 2008

    The Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service needs your help. If you haven't given blood before, pop alog to Falkland Village Hall this afternoon and find out how easy it is. Your blood can help save or improve the lives of up to 3 people, so go on, give it a go.

    Walk off some of the post Xmas bulge in a easy 3 mile walking circuit around Ladybank woods with members of the St Andrews & NE Fife Ramblers. Note: Children welcome, and dogs if on leads.
