The Idea...

‘Letham Nights' aims to

• bring high quality music and entertainment to Letham and provide a stage for local talent, and
• create a ZERO CARBON village hall.

Funds raised from Letham Nights will go towards supporting a zero carbon hall. Organisers support the North Howe Transition Toun and are delighted to welcome the Transition Tavern (featuring Luckie Ales, Cairn O'Mhor wines and a selection of wine from Luvian's of Cupar) to Letham Nights to provide you with local ale and wine.

For those who don't know; Letham Village Hall is located in the centre of the North Howe and just off the A92 - perfectly located for a good night out!  

The Events...

So far we've got three 'Letham Nights' planned (click links for more info on each event): 

• 12 Dec 08 Letham Nights #1: The Moonzie Allstars and Sidelock
• 21 Feb 09 Letham Nights #2: Ewan Robertson and guests
• 14 Mar 09 Letham Nights #3: Wolftrain

All being well, we plan to have a 'Letham Night' every month or two, on a Friday or Saturday between 8pm and midnight. Watch this portal for news of the next one!

The Bands...

We've secured the following Scottish talent for the above dates

• The Moonzie Allstars : "A mixing up of tune and acoustic groove" with influences that span the globe from Scotland and Ireland to Africa, Brazil and Cuba                       

• Sidelock : "Hey, we're Sidelock! We're all 17. Give us a show and we'll play it!"

• Ewan Robertson and guests : Young Traditional Musician of the Year 2008 & member of Breabach, Ewan is taking time out of a hectic tour of the UK and Europe to play in Letham.

• Wolftrain and guests: With a mixture of blues, rock'n'roll and swing from Dundee, it's their horns that set this six-piece apart.
