As Guy Fawkes looms, many of you may be wondering where you can take the kids to safely view fireworks.
Here's a few east and central Fife public displays that we know of.

- Newton of Falkland: Wednesday 5 November, 7pm, Newton Meadow. See Newton of Falkland Bonfire & Fireworks Display
- Dunfermline: Wednesday 5 November , 6pm, Pittencrieff Park
A big event with big fireworks and sure to be a spectacle. - Newport-on-Tay: Wednesday 5 November , 7pm, Waterstone Crook
Annual bonfire night firework display run by the 34th Fife Scout group, the Boy`s football club and the Newport Amateurs. Bonfire starts at 7pm, with fireworks commencing at 7.30pm. Tickets £3.00 adults, £2.00 children. Hotdogs, drinks and sweet snacks will be available in the Scout Hut. Please LEAVE your own SPARKLERS and FIREWORKS at HOME!!!! You may not use them at the event for safety reasons. - Tayport: Wednesday 5 November, 6.30pm, Tayport Thistle Football Club, Shanwell Road, Tayport
- Cardenden: Friday 7 Nov, 6.45pm, Wallsgreen Park, Bowhill, Cardenden
One of the largest and most spectacular displays in Fife with a torch lit childrens procession. Collection on the night - please give generously. Free car parking. - Elie: Sat 8 November, 7pm, Ruby Bay Car Park, Elie
Spectacular setting for some of the best fireworks in Fife - watch out for the floating water display! Free car parking. £3, £1 Children, Discounts available for families - Gauldry: Sat 8 November, 7pm
Local display. Family friendly. - East Neuk: Saturday 8 November , 7pm, Crail Airfield
Gates will open at 6.30pm and the bonfire will be lit at 7pm, ready for the fireworks starting at 7.30pm. Entry fee is children £1 and adults £2. Featuring a professional fireworks display with bonfire, hot stovies, children's rides and refreshments, light sticks and hot dogs. A perfect and safe fireworks night for all the family. Run by the East Neuk of Fife Round Table (which meets every second Wednesday at the Craws Nest Hotel in Anstruther at 7.30pm. New members are very welcome.)
