  1. Letham Nights #3: Wolftrain

    The 3rd in our series of 'Letham Nights' we welcome Dundee band 'Wolftrain'. A six piece band from Perthshire, Wolftrain are a mixture of long, hard experience and bright new talent. Wolftrain is a band with horns that give them their unique sound. Their style is authentic Blues, Rock and Roll, Swing and also some original material. Alabama bluesman, Lil' Jimmy Reed calls Wolftrain his "kick ass band" and they've played with internationally acclaimed blues legends including Otis Grand. Entry: price TBC. All ages welcome.   2. Winter Warmers - Myths of Low Yield in Organic food

    The fourth talk in Falkland Centre for Stewardship's Winter Warmers series. Carlo Leifert - "Myths of Low Yield in Organic food". Carlo Leifert is Professor of Ecological Agriculture at the University of Newcastle where he researches the development of organic agricultural and horticultural systems. There will be a Fife Diet supper available from 6pm with talk commencing at 7pm. Venue: Stables Workshop, Falkland Estate (bring a torch!) Price: £5 waged, £3 concession/unwaged. Booking essential.
