  1. Fife Jazz Club presents The Black Cat Jook Band

    Fife Jazz Collective presents the Fife Jazz Club. Held on the second Tuesday of every month at the Lomond Hills Hotel, Freuchie, this month's gathering welcomes Giffordtown's very own Black Cat Jook Band and support. Tickets are £7, available from the hotel. Proceeds to Cancer Research UK.
  2. Letham Nights #2: Ewan Robertson and guests

    For the second in our series of 'Letham Nights', on Saturday 21st February 2009, we bring you Ewan Robertson and guests. Ewan is singer and guitarist of highly acclaimed band Breabach and, in his own right, winner of Young Traditional Musician of the Year 2008. (See http://www.myspace.com/ewanrobertson). Entry: £6 / £4 concession; all ages welcome. Bar Provided by North Howe Travelling Transition Tavern. Local music, local beer, local entertainment - not to be missed.   3. Winter Warmers - Scottish Climate Change Policy

    The third talk in Falkland Centre for Stewardship's Winter Warmers series, part of the One Planet Food Programme. Jan Bebbington is the Sustainable Development Commission's Vice-Chair (Scotland). She is Professor of Accounting and Sustainable Development at the University of St Andrews, and also the Director of the St Andrews Sustainability Institute. There will be a supper available from 6pm with talk commencing at 7pm. Venue: Stables Workshop, Falkland Estate (bring a torch!) Price: £5 waged, £3 concession/unwaged. Booking essential.
