  3. New Year's Day Ceilidh

    This highly popular annual event will go ahead as usual in the Hall. There are only a few tickets left so anyone interested should call at the Lomond Tavern in Horsemarket to grab their tickets. The Lomond Ceilidh Band wil be providing the music.
  4. Birnie & Gaddon Lochs: Guided Winter Bird Walk

    Tony Wilson, Fife Ranger, leads a guided walk around Birnie and Gaddon Lochs to check out the over-wintering birds. £2 Donation. Meet at Birnie Loch car ark.
  5. Fife Jazz Club presents Richard Michael piano

    Fife Jazz Collective presents the Fife Jazz Club. Held on the second Tuesday of every month at the Lomond Hills Hotel, Freuchie, this month's get together welcomes Richard Michael piano and the Fabulous Corvettes (Blues band)). Tickets are £7, available from the hotel. Proceeds to Cancer Research UK.
  6. Winter Warmers - Towards a Sustainable Food System Now

    The second talk in Falkland Centre for Stewardship's Winter Warmers series. Charlie Clutterbuck is a research fellow at Department of Food Policy, City University and a member of the Food Ethics Council. He'll talk on: "What is Sustainable Food, Why we need it now, and Who should promote it". His website www.sustainablefood.com provides a resource for educators, students, managers and workers to promote food that is healthier for people & planet. There will be a Fife Diet supper available from 6pm with talk commencing at 7pm. Venue: Stables Workshop, Falkland Estate (bring a torch!) Price: £5 waged, £3 concession/unwaged. Booking essential.
