Four great singers and musicians in one night! Come along and enjoy an evening of traditional music, starring American duo Laura Boosinger & Josh Goforth. Laura is based in North Carolina and is long established as one of the classier peformers on the Appalachian old-time circuit. She also plays the clawhammer banjo, autohar and guitar. Josh Goforth, although only in his mid 20s, has establisged himself as a 'one to watch' musician and is much in demand as a session player in Nashville. he is an acclaimed fiddler, guitar picker and mandlin player. Also on the bill are Paul Anderson and Shona Donaldson, fiddle / singing duo from Aberdeenshire. Ongoing renovations to Glenfarg Village Hall mean the ceilidh dance and weekend evening concerts, will take place in the Strathmiglo Village Hall - a great opportunity for Strath music lovers to enjoy some great entertainment in the form of the Orwell Ceilidh Band (Fri) and The Farg Folk, Sileas, Steve Tilston and Malinky (Sat). Come along to Cultural Carnival -a celebration of the cultural diversity that's alive and well in North East Fife.
