  1. Youth Club Christmas Fayre

    Ladybank Youth club is holding its annual Christmas Fayre on Dec 1st from 6pm to 7.30pm in the youth club. All parents, children, friends and family welcome. There will be a raffle, tombola, home baking, games / toys, prozes etc. Donations, as always, are very welcome.

    All welcome to hear John Mitchell's account of Badger preservation and the need for it. John is nicknamed 'Badger' which underlines his passion for protecting this much-maligned species, and we look forward to finding out mmore about their behaviour and habits.
  4. Ladybank Tavern : Open Traditional Music Nights

  5. Restaurant at the End of the World

    Pillars of Hercules occasional restaurant is opening again on Friday nights. Tonight delicious seasonal food will be produced by local chef Christopher Trotter. It's the best of vegetarian food (plus carnivorous option), all organic of course, served up in a congenial atmosphere with live jazz music. Set price menu is £28 per person (£30 for carnivores). 3 courses & coffee. We do not have a table licence but feel free to bring your own alcoholic drinks (no corkage charge).   6. Collessie Quiz Night

    Collessie Village Hall Committee are pleased to host the very popular quiz night again this year. The Collessie Quiz Night Trophy has been keenly contested in the past and this event has proven to be great fun for all. Bring along a team or join one on the night. Teams are to be limited to a maximum of 8 people please. The event will be from 8pm – 10pm in the Hall and the admission is £2 per person to be paid on the door. Please bring along your own refreshments. A raffle will be held on the night and all proceeds will go to the upkeep of the Hall.
  7. ***Letham Christmas Fair***

    Letham Primary School is holding a Christmas Fair on Saturday, 6th December from 10am-12noon, in the Village Hall. This is being organised by the School Council, and will include events such as Home Baking, Christmas Crafts, Raffle, Calendars for sale. Entry is £1.50 - we look forward to seeing you there.

  9. Malocco Winter Fudraising Exhibition

    Well known Collessie artist Alfred Malocco is opening his studio, the Glebe Gallery in Collessie for a week, where a signed framed limited edition print will be raffled in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Come along and admire Alfred's diverse work which includes subjects from Landscapes and Seascapes to Portraiture, Still Life and Figurative Studies.

  11. Fife Jazz Club presents George & Angie King

    Fife Jazz Collective presents the Fife Jazz Club. Held on the second Tuesday of every month at the Lomond Hills Hotel, Freuchie, this month's gathering welcomes George & Angie King on piano and vocals respectively, plus Corrie Dick (trumpet) with Paul Johnstone (piano). Tickets are £7, available from the hotel. Proceeds to Cancer Research UK.

  17. Nine Lessons & Carols

    Come enjoy the 30-strong choir of Creich, Flisk & Kilmany with Monimail Churches (plus a frew friends) lead a service of Nine Lessons and Carols on dec 14 at 7pm. Thanks to the direction of choirmaster George Somerville, the programme is just as varied as last year, but with more of the traditional joy and Christmas spirit that many come to these services to experience. As in previous years there will be the opportunity to hear and sing carols from other countries; Australia, Austria, Canada, Russia, France & Spain. Come and join the choir - fill the church and celebrate!
  18. Calsay Baton Twirlers Christmas Show

    Calsay Baton Twirlers are once again staging their annual christmas show. The two performances will take place at the Church Hall in Auchtermuchty on Monday 15th and Tuesday 16th December with a start time of 6.30pm.
