  1. Indoor Boot Sale

  2. Festival Quiz Night

    Pop along to the Cycle Tavern and enjoy another infamous Festival Society Quiz night. Iain Santry will be setting the questions. Anyone wishing to take part is more than welcome at the Cycle Tavern for 8pm.
  3. Muchty Murder Mystery

    The Auchtermuchty Theatre Group is holding a Murder Mystery afternoon. An informal setting with food during the interval and each table has their answer sheet to complete with who they think dun-it! Prizes will be presented to the table with the correct answer, it'll be a fun afternoon for the whole family. Tickets are available by contacting Evelyn Myles on 01337 828524 or Steven Robertson 01337 828723. Or at the door on the day of the event. Everyone is welcome to try and single out the killer.

  5. NCT Children's Toys & Books Sale

    The NE Fife branch of the National Childcare Trust are holding another of their infamous nearly new sales at the Old Parish Church on sat Nov 8th. You'll be able to buy and sell children's toys, clothes, books, baby equipment and maternity clothes. Would-be sellers should contact the NCT branch at dundeefifenct.org.uk or call 0870 1129250 (between 7pm and 9pm).
  6. Traditional Music Workshop

    Sunday, 9th November, 2008

    The Auchtermuchty Festival Society in partnership with Elmwood College, is holding a series of traditional music workshops in the Auchtermuchty Town Hall. Workshops offer tuition in guitar, fiddle, tin whistle, mouth organ, accordian and keyboard. Includes special sessions for beginners. All adults and children from 8 upwards welcome to attend (an adult must accompany children under 10).
  7. Remembrance Sunday Service, Auchtermuchty

    Sunday, 9th November, 2008

    Remembrance Sunday will be marked with a 10.45am service at Auchtermuchty Parish Church followed by a short service at 12 noon at the War Memorial, Auchtermuchty. All welcome.

    Come along and stock up on Xmas shopping. There will be over 20 stalls to choose from, including organic beauty products, jewellery, cards, homemade chocolates, children's books, Fairtrade products and much, much more.   10. Fife Farmers Market - Cupar

    Cupar Farmers’ Market is held on the Third Saturday of every month. Likely producers include Iain Spink (Traditional Smokies From Arbroath), Puddledub Buffalo and Pork, Bellfield Organic Nursery, Caurnie Soap Co, Gartmorn Farm Poultry, Fletchers of Auchtermuchty and Hilton Wild Boar.   11. Strathmiglo Family Ceilidh

  13. N.Howe Transition Toun: Preparing for a Changing Future

    The North Howe Transition Toun have been active this year, hosting a series of awareness raising events looking at possible effects of peak oil and climate change on the local community. There's growing interest from local people who want to get actively involved in practical projects to help us prepare for a changing future, and this public meeting at Letham Village Hall is the next stage in forming action groups to take ideas forward and develop specific projects. All welcome.
  14. Fancy a Nappucino?

    Come along, enjoy a coffee and a chat and ask questions about the benefits and ease of use of real nappies at Muddy Boots Farm. Trial kits will be available to purchase (as long as stocks last).     All welcome at this Race Night fundraiser at the Lomond Hills in aid of Marie McNaughton & Chloe Gibb of the Calsay Baton Twirlers who are travelling to France to represent Scotland in the Baton Twirling European Championships in 2009. Good luck all!

  18. Heart of Fife RDA: Unaffiliated Challenge Show, Jumping

    Support the Heart of Fife Riding for the Disabled group at a public show at Dabbs on 23rd November. Open to the public both to enter and to spectate, there will be a tombola and a sales table. Dabbs cafe will be open too, lovely chips! There is a class at 2pm for RDA riders only, we're expecting around 20 TDA showjumpers. Come along and see for yourself how skilled our riders are. And if you're interested in volunteering, please get in touch.
