What's on at the 2008 Auchtermuchty Festival?

From Auchtermuchty Festival, Monday, 21st July, 2008

This year's festival runs from the 1st to 10th August and, as always it's jam packed with community and traditional music events.

Muchty Music Makers  Pram race winners 07 Muchty FestivalSunday Funday fancy dress winners, 07 Muchty Festival

The theme this year is 'Welcome to the Sixties' - so be sure to dig out that psychadelic outfit lurking at the back of your parent's wardrobe for the fancy dress competition and the pram race!

For the first time this year, the committee have a plan to keep people dry in the event of a downpour!  The Cross will be covered by a marquee, though there will still be tonnes of room for outdoor dancing should the sun make an appearance.

Below is the schedule of events for this year's festival. Be sure to check the Festival's own website for the latest news and any changes to the schedule, plus competition rules, info on performers and much more. You can even buy tickets on-line. Way to go!
