Ladybank Primary School News: 22 Mar 08

From Ann Fisher, Ladybank Primary, Monday, 21st April, 2008

Zoolab visited Ladybank last Thursday and showed the children a variety of animals including Cornflake the snake and Barry the African Land Snail.

Nursery - are happy to be back after the holidays and morning and afternoon children enjoyed the visit from Zoolab.

P2/3 - The children have begun to make stepping stones for their sensory garden.  Mr Bissett helped us to mix cement and we decorated them with pebbles glass beads and shells.

P4/5 - The whole class is focusing on reading and writing and everyone is reading a book by Dick King Smith.

P5/6 - are all pleased to be back at school after the Easter holiday.  We are all busily learning our parts for the play we are performing at the forthcoming Drama Festival.

P6/7 - have a busy term ahead and are currently organising their disco.  The children have been bag packing in Tesco, Cupar to raise more money towards their trip.  We all loved Zoolab and lots of the children now want pet snakes EEK!!  We have a photographer in school this week so we'll all be looking fabulous.
