Our location
Reuben & Cynthia welcome visitors to their friendly and comfortable home 'Rathad Iseal' on Auchtermuchty's Low Road.
With modern day comforts including a luxurious guest lounge and plentiful off-street parking, it's easy to forget the house was built almost 250 years ago!
Room types
Choose from one double and one twin room, both non-smoking, and both situated upstairs. Foldaway bed available. There is a hostess tray and radio alarm clock in each of the rooms and a hairdryer, an iron and ironing board and laundry facilities are available on request.
Breakfast is included in the price, choose from Continental or a wide variety of Full Scottish Breakfast options.

Facilities
Guests have exclusive use of a downstairs lounge complete with TV, books and magazines, plus a large upstairs bathroom and shower. There is a downstairs toilet, off-street parking for 2+ cars and storage for bikes, golf clubs etc (in the garage). Guests may also use the garden to the rear of the house and there are no restrictions i.e. guests receive a key on arrival. Please note: this is a non-smoking home - guests may only smoke outside.

Location
Rathad Iseal is less than 5 minutes walk from the Low Road bus stop where buses to Cupar, St Andrews, Dundee & the North, as well as Glenrothes and the South are easily accessible. Muchty's central location in Scotland makes it a great stop-over for trips to the Highlands or to Edinburgh too.
Price
£40-£45 per room per night for B&B. Evening meals on request. Special rates for long stays. Closed over Christmas and New Year. Booking advisable during the summer, especially in August during the the Auchtermuchty Festival. Credit cards are not accepted.
Cynthia and Reuben have been welcoming cyclists, golfers, musicians and those interested in family history to their home since 1995. They look forward to sharing their enthusiasm and knowledge of Muchty and its surrounds with you also.
