It's a good idea to read our advertising ratecard information before you start, so you're clear about what to expect for your £.

Note: 'Adverts' are the coloured boxes running down the right hand side of each page. You can be listed in our directory of businesses or organisations for FREE! Here's how.

Organisation type

A premium advert occupies 1 of the top 4 positions on each page i.e. it will always be visible. A standard advert sits below a premium one, meaning you may need to scroll down the page to view it. Your destination URL may be your own website, or an existing page on this portal. We can also build you a new page on the portal (for a small fee).

If you choose to have your advert shown on 'certain parts of the site' only, the webmaster will be in touch to discuss this with you soon.

Advertisement type

Please enter the full URL (including http://) to the web page this advertisement will redirect to.

Show on

Only 'premium' advertisers can choose a particular date band in which their advert will be seen, minimum period 1 week. Whilst this useful for special offers or big events, we would not recommend this option unless your ad has a specific expiry date, as it is likely to result in fewer pageviews than a block.

In Oct '09, '1 block / 15,000 pageviews' was equivalent to just under 1 month's exposure on all pages of the portal. If we have a lot of visitors over a short period, then your advert may be displayed for less than a month, but it will still be viewed 15,000 times.

For Premium Advertisements, you can choose the date range that it will appear online.

Keep costs down and advertise quickly by sending us a ready made advert - the image format should be .jpeg or .gif and not exceed 152 pixels wide by 85 pixels high. Alternatively we can create a simple advert or resize an existing one for you. Simply attach the image you would like used. If you would like a new graphic created, we'll be in touch to discuss shortly.
