It is important to Smart Community Fife that portal visitors have a valuable user experience i.e. that the information provided is accessible to as many users as possible. This extends not only to people with disabilities but those with slow internet connections, low monitor resolution etc.

With this in mind, the portal has been designed to comply with W3C Level A standards, and all HTML and CSS code produced for the portal has been validated using W3C's validator service.
